European law
The UK's bodybuilding industry faces the biggest change in the last 50 years with new European law on Type Approval which started to come into force in April 2009. In 2010 Minibuses, buses, and coaches built in one stage or first stage of a multi stage build will need type approval plates. in 2011 light vans and trucks as well as multipul stage minibuses, buses and coaches will be affected.
The manager for the commercial vehicle affairs at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders was quoted as saying:
"If you're involved in building or selling any of these, you may be responsible for the Certificate of Conformity that you'll need to register and sell each one.
Without this you can't register the vehicle either in the UK or the rest of the EC."

The UK Vehicle Certification Agency have inspected our plates and confirmed that Rudd Macnamara's type approval plates meet all the relevant requirements for Type Approval.
