European law
The UK's bodybuilding industry faces the biggest change in the last 50 years with new European law on Type Approval starting to bite from 29th April 2009. This will apply first to buses, mini buses and coaches, then vans, trucks and trailers and their bodywork and many other special purpose vehicles.
Robin Dickeson who is manager for the commercial vehicle affairs at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders was quoted as saying:
"If you're involved in building or selling any of these, you may be responsible for the Certificate of Conformity that you'll need to register and sell each one.
Without this you can't register the vehicle either in the UK or the rest of the EC."

The UK Vehicle Certification Agency have inspected our plates and confirmed that Rudd Macnamara's type approval plates meet all the relevant requirements for Type Approval.

Text can be sequential marked on your plate using a number of different methods. These include screen and digital printing, and we can also stamp or dot peen the characters directly onto the plate.
