Our Story

Rudd Macnamara Ltd was founded by Ernest Rudd in 1890. In 1995, E. Rudd & Co Ltd merged with Macnamara Tone, hence the name Rudd Macnamara Ltd - sowing the seeds of a business that has grown to occupy an unrivalled position in the UK nameplate industry.

The company has diversified into other market and is now the largest independent specialist printer for the European business sector.

We specialise in industrial graphics, nameplates, servicing a wide range of markets including brewery, aerospace, automotive, utilities, promotional goods, oil and gas, sound reproduction, general industrial and many more.

Rudd Macnamara utilises the following manufacturing processes: anodising, chemical etching, machine engraving, vac forming, stamping, embossing, screen printing, lithographic digital printing, reverse screen printing and pad printing.
